hello?
I'm working on a story where Imps, Hellhounds and a bunch of similar things come to earth (I have yet to name it)... should I upload it sections at a time or all at once, if I upload it one section at a time there'll be quite a few cliffhangers, but it'll take a lot longer if I upload it all at once... (I'm gonna ask all my watchers and do what the majority thinks I should do)...
Personally, I would do it in as little sections as possible, yet NOT all at once. Leaving cliffhangers has an advantage in that it aids in drawing the attention of readers.
However, if you make too many cliffhangers, regardless of update time, you will lose your audience.
For example, if I wrote a story that was 50 pages long total, I would have no more than two cliffhangers (if that many at all). But, as I said, that's for 50 pages total.
It can vary story length to story length, but DON'T leave too many cliffhangers.
That's my advice.
Those would be ideal places to do that indeed. You should do that while just having a general frame in mind for section lengths proportional to the total length.
In other words, cut off at whatever scenes you see fit, just try to have at least a loose length limit to follow.
Make sense?
